The access is pretty good around the park apart from a few tree roots and stumps about the paths. These are usually avoidable though. The only bit that’s tricky is a steep gravel slope going down to the boardwalk that takes you to the other side of the park. I went down backwards as my chair was sliding on the loose gravel. You can avoid this slope if it’s a problem and go the opposite way around. The car park gets full very quickly on popular days with very few disabled spaces so we had to park further away on rough ground. Disabled toilet is in a separate hut outside the park, it’s not that big.

I went to the wildlife park for the first time today (I use an electric wheelchair). The park pathways are mainly gravel with a few areas in woodchip. Was a bit waterlogged in parts also.
Access wise, gravel was a little deep around the car park and entrance, but otherwise it was ok. Level access in all parts (shop, cafe also) but some of the incline were a little steep – ok for me but if your chair tends to slip I’d be more cautious. Several areas also had exposed tree roots, so a little bumpy there.

We managed fine, it was as good as you can expect of a wildlife park I think (If you have been to Exbury Gardens or Hilliers Arboretum then you will manage here as well)

And the woldlife was lovely too! (If a little shy)
