Loch Fyne is one of our local favourites. Used to have issues with the ramp lift not working but have replaced it with a wooden ramp.
This renovated former church has huge glass doors which are heavy to move. but staff patrol the doors to let you in. Could do with a bell next to the entrance.
Staff seat or wheel, you to a table used by wheelchair users.
Tables are too low for powerchair users and could use a dedicated accessible table.
Staff are sensitive to disabled patrons, offering straws if required.
I asked for Js food to be cut up so he could eat easier and no one blinked an eye.
There is a disabled toilet in the corner of the restaurant. Sometimes tables are a little too close and people can see inside when you open the door.
Inside is clean and just about big enough for a powerchair but you have to reverse out.
Loch Fyne have gone along way to facilitate their disabled customers but could do more to make it top class
