Wheelchair spaces in the Concert Hall and Theatre. Seats removed.
Also, wheelchair spaces in the cinema and the Sherling Studio (small room for some dramas, comedy and music). In the cinema the seat is not removed meaning you have to sit slightly in front of those accompanying you. This has been flagged up and the venue are launching their own ‘access review’ later in the year.
Complementary PA spaces throughout the venue.

If you take a PA with you, the Access to Leisure card concession does not apply. This is because in the (mistaken) view of the Lighthouse, you have already received a concession (it’s actually a reasonable adjustment).

I have an electric wheelchair. I regularly attend for comedy and music gigs, films, theatre and also language classes in the foyer close to the theatre. Staff are almost always very helpful.

There are accessible toilets on more than one floor, and they are not matchbox-sized. They are relatively good. However, as with many places, those with very large wheelchairs may not find them that easy. Also, again like many places, there is currently no Changing Places toilet.
