I’ve visited the Mercure Winchester Wessex Hotel twice for afternoon tea, you can always find a good deal on various voucher sites.

The accessible entrance is around the back of the hotel, which is great to have access, don’t get me wrong people, but could we have the button to buzz for attention a bit more accessible? You have to be prepared to wait for the staff to come and open the door for you, this is ok and understandable.

Once inside, if you are a wheelchair user and wish to gain access to the bar you have to use the lift that hoovers over the five or six steps. This is ok, just make sure your driving is spot on.

The afternoon tea was amazing by the way. 🙂
