Cannon Cannon

Easy to enter the museum by way of a ramp. Staff are on hand at the entrance. Lift available to all floors. Room to manoeuvre. Accessible toilet. Well lit rooms and booklets available in larger text if needed. Well worth a visit. Cafe on site too although I didn’t venture in. Parking would be a problem as it is a city centre venue. It is free to visit and many interesting things to view.

Cannon Cannon

Although parking is a major problem. There is a lovely smooth ramp up to the door and there is always a member of staff on the door to open the door which they do for all visitors. This happens on both entering and leaving the building. Access throughout the gallery, wheelchairs available as well as accessible toilets. There is a glass lift and it is very roomy and would accommodate more than two wheelchairs, prams etc. There is masses of room to move around and the paintings are both modern and old. It is a beautiful building both inside and out with many interesting features. Admission is free but they accept donations which would be used for the upkeep of the gallery. There is both a shop and a cafe which are both accessible. Many portraits of famous Scots from Robert Louis Stevenson to Sir Chris Hoy. Well worth a visit.
