Vented on AccessAdviser Facebook group after a frustrating experience at this small town pub. What annoyed me most about this venue was the fact it had disabled parking and a disabled sign at the front door. However when actually trying to get into the public there was four steps and staff said there is no ramp available despite phoning up beforehand and ensuring there was access. Frustrated yes but the staff were more than happy to help and accommodate what they could and also other visitors at the pub were also very helpful. I just did not want to be carried up steps. This day was raining but the venue had a nice little garden with ample access and would of made for a nice summer’s day.
