The entrance to Bengal Brasserie is raised from the road alongside several other restaurants, but is easily accessed by smooth, shallow ramps at either end of the raised platform. The wide glass doors were propped open due to the heat, & a waiter met us at the door & lead us to a suitable table, asking me which side would be most convenient for my wheelchair & moving chairs without a fuss. There was room to pass comfortably between the furniture to accommodate the trolleys they use to serve food, making it great for a wheelchair user too.
The lighting was quite dim but was tinted blue, giving it a more natural light feel. The service & food was excellent, with a wide variety of options for people with special dietary needs.

I believe the toilets are located at the back of the restaurant but I didn’t use them myself.

The staff were extremely polite & friendly, most notably in that they would address me instead of asking my husband about my wants. They seemed completely unfazed by the wheelchair, which was as refreshing as the mango kulfi.

The restaurant is situated beneath a multi-storey car park, is next to a taxi bank, & is close to several bus stops. Being near a main road all crossings are complete with traffic lights, lowered pavements, textured paving, & beeping sounds to help people cross. The pavements are smooth and level.
