This review begins with accessing Blue badge parking. Website links didn’t work so was given a mobile number by visiting club ( after they called to get one )
The pass requested was sent first class and arrived the next morning.
Arrived early and was directed to the spaces, which although super close to the stadium were all on a steep gradient, ( which my own power chair was not happy about traversing)
The access gate was sadly not the closest one to the wheelchair spaces., which we found on leaving . These spaces were though protected from the elements by a low metal roof , reminiscent of a bus shelter for gnomes. Minimum head room for Pa’s
The Pa seating was supposed to be in a row behind but once seated in the designated PA row, easy access was restricted due to a perspex screen at the rear of the ” bus shelter” . there were a couple of seats in the shelter but not sufficient for 1/1 support. One PA using to concrete ledge as a seat.
Supporters standing at the pitch barriers continue to be an issues not enorced by stewards despite yellow hatched boxes and clear signage.
The bus shelters do not provide a very good view of the full length of the pitch due to brick side walls.
The steward allocated our shelter offered to show any who needed accessible toilet facilities where they were and accompanied through the home fans queing for tea coffee etc
The traffic volume leaving post match was heavy so despite waiting 50 minutes post final whistle it was still chock a block.
Friendly club that tries very hard to get it right.
