Unfortunately, there was no parking available in the area due to the fact that parts of the museum was being upgraded to allow access to everyone. This is expected to be completed by 2021 so there seems to be a lot of work to be done. There is a lovely ramp that allows access into the ground floor of the museum. The doors are swing doors so not too bad to get through and there are some staff on hand to help if it is needed. The lift was included in the upgrade therefore upstairs was inaccessible because it was a staircase only. There was a wheelchair sign on the gentlemans toilets but the ladies was not wheelchair friendly due to the narrow entrance. The toilets were lovely and spotlessly clean. The place to see Art though. It is free admission although you can give a donation if you want. Monet, Constable, Turner, Titan and Raphael to name but a few are all there as well as Scottish artists and there is a lovely display of furniture and sculptures. Well worth a visit.
