If your in a wheelchair the paths can be steep, uneven and or muddy. They have ramped sections where stairs are but they can get steep so you’ll need a good wheelchair. My car chair (roma medical) nearly slid off the path. There are toilets somewhere and a changing toilet but I didn’t see them due to c word. Parking is free.

This park is so convenient to visit if you are travelling on the A38 near Derby. The carpark is just off the roundabout. There are plenty of spaces. There’s 3 different routes you can take doing the park. The maps give information as to the type of surface and incline. The route I took was mainly flat. There’s a nice lake to sit and watch the wildlife and lots of shady trees. The ice cream van was a bonus!
