There’s plenty of disabled parking outside the front of the hotel although we were lucky to get a space as there was only one left, however I did notice some of the vehicles in the other spaces didn’t have a blue badge displayed. The car parking is £8 every 24 hours which is payable when you leave via the machines outside the hotel entrance.

From the car park there’s a short ramp up the kerb but from here it’s all on the level, the entrance is flat and the doors are automatic sliding ones. There’s a disabled toilet just off the reception area which was of a reasonable size, it has a left side transfer onto the loo. The restaurant is on the same level with tables that you should be able to get under in an electric wheelchair.

There’s plenty of disabled rooms at this hotel and all seemed to be on the ground floor so no need to use the lifts. Our room was a long way from the reception area so if you are ambulant disabled you might want to request one of the disabled rooms that are a little nearer. The room itself was large and easy to manoeuvre around in a wheelchair, the bathroom was a wet room type and also of a good size.

I stayed at this hotel when I visited Resorts World Arena, it’s about a 25 minute walk from there so if you’re going to the arena I would recommend either getting a taxi which we did or staying in a nearer hotel.
