Being national trust place it can be tricky as is outdoors
Big plus point they do have a off road mobility scooter that you can book in advance and this allows you to access the forest away from the paths ( I have pretty much covered the whole forest using it)
Charge for parking but free if national trust members
Bottom carpark is hard standing but rough and some loose stones 2 disabled spaces
Certain times of day and year the gate is open and you can drive up to top carpark .This is hard standing and 6 disabled spaces and is nearer the cafe .Additional parking on grass in the summer
Disabled toilet is very tight on space and no real room to side transfer and they are aware and planning to upgrade these hopefully next 12 months

The road main walkway is accessible for wheelchairs but has slopes also around the lake is wheelchair accessible and a boardwalk area as well
Cafe is fully accessible and staff are more than happy to assist with carrying food and drinks seating is all outside with some in a roofed hut area but this has a small step up
