Just a quick review – avoid the Slug and Letuce in Southampton if you are a wheelchair user! The only lower level table we as 2 wheelchair users could access was right next to the freezing cold door. All other tables were the higher ones that are fashionable, but completely inaccessible. I spoke to the bar staff, but they were unwilling or unable to do anything. We went the ‘The Stable’ in Guildhall Square and spent our money there instead! I DM’d them at @slugsouthampton – but no reply after two days. Says it all, which is a real shame as we did like the Slug – they just don’t like us!
