There are two car parks nearby which are located on either side of the River Severn, when we visited we parked in the station car park. This had four disabled parking spaces and a gentle tarmac slope down to the bridge. The actual bridge slopes up and then down again the other side, this slope was a little steep but would be okay for electric wheelchairs and scooters. The bridge has raised kerbs on either side, these aren’t that high but run the length of the bridge with no dropped kerbs. Access to the bridge would probably be easier for wheelchair users from The Square car park which has three disabled bays. If you are viewing the bridge from this side of the river then if you travel down the road to the right of the bridge then you’ll get to a gentle sloping path that leads you down underneath the bridge for a closer view. This was pretty bumpy though as it was raised block paving, there’s plenty of benches to sit at for the ambulatory disabled. There is a toilet block with a Radar operated disabled toilet in The Square car park.
