Ludlow castle is a ruin so there isn’t much to see but is still worth a visit if you’re in the area. The car parking is in the council pay and display car park which is about 250 meters away, you can be dropped off in front of the castle entrance. There’s a disabled toilet in the shop, cafĂ© and outer area. To get to the main part of the castle you have to cross a large expanse of flat rough grass, you then move up a slight gravel incline onto the wooden walkway over the moat. Once inside its level grass and gravel, some of the rooms you can get into with a wheelchair but not all of them. There’s also a couple of areas that are only accessible via stairs. Its not great for accessibility but when is a medieval castle, you can still see a reasonable amount for a ruin though.
