Cannon Cannon

There is some parking here but it is a machine ticketed option. This is a small park which offers tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. I entered via the wrong entrance as it was a slope down as well as a step down and potholes leading to a tarmac path however there are two more accessible entrances available. The exit I used had a step up as well. The pathways weren’t bad and there are some fantastic views of Edinburgh. This is close to the Burns Monument. There is a circle of 32 stone rocks each one represents a local authority and they are all different to convey the diversity of Scotland’s geology.
