The disabled parking spaces are near the entrance, a shallow concreate ramp takes you up from the car park area to the ticketing booth. Wheelchair users are admitted for free, those who aren’t but can prove disability plus their carers are admitted at the concessionary rate. The path up to the main buildings is relatively level and tarmac. All the buildings including the tea rooms, museum and Wareham bears exhibit are accessed via ramps and there’s an accessible toilet next to the main toilet block. The accessible route around The Blue Pool is the red route and is mostly level and well compacted however there are some steeper sections and parts of the path can be quite sandy and badly rutted with tree roots. A lot of areas off of this route aren’t wheelchair friendly or accessible at all with numerous steps and very steep areas so be very careful not to venture away from the signposted red route. There is a nice pond area with an accessible wooden pier on the route which is teaming with dragonflies in the spring.
