So for this expedition I was a stick user down to the very close accessible parking opposite the Accessible entry point ( However I was not directed to that by any stewards and entered via an extremely small turn stile .) to the concourse .

The Disabled Liason stewards all wore identifying over jackets so at least if you needed help you knew who to ask .

On leaving I was spotted by one of these stewards waiting ing for the masses to leave and clear the steps to the exit . so she offered to escort us past the empty home stand to the accessible door and facilities before the journey home .
Overall very good. I would like to think that in future the stewards would spot an ambulant disabled struggling up the slope to the away turnstiles and allow access in through the accessible gate too.

Been to The Hawthorns a few times and have been impressed by their facilities and the support from the stewards.

The ‘Riverside Rocket’ was able to park just across the road from the accessible entrance, and I believe ambulant disabled away supporters were allowed to use the Sandwell Academy for car-parking.

Entry into the stadium was step-free and straightforward. The stewards were extrelmely helpful and showed us first to the accessible loos and then our viewing position.

The accessible loo area was shared with home fans, but was well equipped. Four accessible loos, marked left and right-hand transfer, a sensory room and a bar area serving food and drink. Accessible height shelves too. Well done.

Our viewing position was near the corner flag, slightly raised, but we were with our own fans. There was no access for wheelchair users to the main concourse as far as I could tell.

The stewards were exceptional.

OK we lost but well done to West Brom for very good facilities.

Vlog to follow.
