I’m currently making a video about a day out in #London I recently had with my daughter.

It was a lovely day, but there were a couple of occasions when I was reminded that sometimes London can be as bad as anywhere else when it comes to #accessibility, and for ensuring that disabled people should experience as good a day out as anyone else.

The first thing to put a dampener on the day was a trip to HMV in Oxford Street. I’d hoped to be able to browse their store for some vinyl and cd’s. That required getting in a lift to get to the correct floor. I asked an assistant for help. They replied “The last time I was here it wasn’t working. I’ll check again”.

Needless to say it wasn’t. Sort it out HMV.
