We visit City regularly on match day but have also done the stadium tour which I highly recommend for any football fan. Access is perfect and the staff are incredibly helpful. Well done City.

Thoughts on our second visit. This time we used the Manchester Tram system ( or whatever they call it), the 3 stations we used were easily accessible, clean and tidy. Getting on and off the trams was pretty straight forward, clearly defined wheelchair access and spaces on the trams, the people of Manchester were very accommadating and helpful. The major drawback with the Tram option is it dosen’t run until at least 20 mins after the match ( to allow for crowd disperal ). My husband pushed me back to Piccadilly station, this is down hill and took 25-30 minutes, it’s mainly follow the crowd. This was done on a pleasant September day, probably not so good in inclement weather, with the sheer volume of humanity on the roads post match, cars, taxis, buses don’t go very far until the roads are clear of pedestrians.
The view inside the ground was unhindered and the staff all friendly and helpful : )

Second visit, this time with more than 10 minutes to kick-off! City very helpfully providing a car park pass right next to the away fans entrance.

Obviously the stadium is modern, so no problems getting in and the photo shows that the view was wonderful. A little surprised that the toilet was quite small. Certainly no Changing Places or similar here.

I am a 54 year old woman in a wheelchair pushed by my husband. Here are some of my thoughts of my recent visit of Man City vs AFCB.
We arrived at Piccadilly train station, boarding and alighting required assistance from the guard with a ramp – every mannouvre was completed efficiently thanks to the cheerful guards. Moving about at Piccadilly was smooth. Disabled toilet facilities were adequate for us and situated near the lift.
My husband pushed me to the Etihad which is approx 1.5 miles with a shallow uphill gradient.
At the stadium the stewards were very friendly and helpful. Our seat was at the back of the first tier with a good unobstructed view of the whole pitch. We were in with our own fans. With vocal Man City fans on either side of us made a good atmosphere.
We noticed that disabled away fans parking is situated just outside the visiting fans entrance. Someone told me post match, all visiting fans transport -coaches,minibuses disabled fans transport are given a police escort to the nearest motorway and are clear of the stadium relatively quickly.
