Train transport Virgin
Two accessible spaces on the London bound side of the station, There is a low kerb to the right of the ticket office on this side. Along with ticket machines and a periodically manned ticket office .
Note should be taken of train direction as the only way to cross the line is via the footpath on the main road.
The station master was on the platform having received an email the evening before advising of wheelchair passengers on my train.
He cheerfully chatted and directed me and another wheelchair user who arrived at the same time , 20 mins early to the access point. ( Nice sunny day ) No cover for inclement weather alas.
Train arrived and access carriage was aligned very well.
The ramp went on and up we went. Amazed at the space and super pull out table. Felt a bit like business class on a plane.
On leaving did find the door way a little narrow ( may be down to my inexperience).
The return journey was slightly different as the ramp was brought up from the guards van as the station was by this point ( sunday night ) unmanned .
Overall all I would use this station again for journeys in either direction.
