I use Southampton Central regularly and it is very accessible, and the staff are friendly and helpful and will willingly provide ramp access to the train even if you have not pre-booked. That said, I suggest pre-booking (I use south west trains and they have great wheelchair access) You can book access via a phone line or via a website (details vary depending on which train company you are using.

Highly recommended station for wheelchair users.

Use this station often as a wheelchair user – and never had any problems – whilst I sometimes book access in advance, often I do not – but that has never been a problem.
