I love the tram system.
Buying a ticket is easy. There are ticket machines on every platform. Or you can purchase a kangaroo ticket from the travel centre in Nottinghams old market square, if you’re going to be travelling around a lot in nottingham.
Boarding the tram is easy. You just ride on. The platform is the same level as the tram, and the doors are wide enough to get a large wheelchair through.
I’ve always found the staff to be quite pleasant.
There are a number of tram stops with car parks attached. Parking is free. Follow the park and ride tram signs. The city centre stops have no parking facilities. Although there are plenty of car parks available.
As long as you have a ticket, before you board, you will have an enjoyable journey.
If you live in nottingham city, you can apply for a travel pass. Which gives free travel on buses and trams within the city.
